Mr. William T. Stevens, a Central Virginia native, founded Stevens & Company in 1938. Mr. Stevens went on to sell significant Virginia estates for over fifty-five years, bringing to every transaction his unique reverence for and stewardship of the area.
At the age of eighty-two, he was still most likely to be found doing what he loved most -- marketing this extraordinarily beautiful and historic place. A testament to his commitment to, and knowledge of, the Charlottesville area, Mr. Stevens's proudest achievement was selling three presidential landmarks in one year. Flip Faulconer continues in Mr. Stevens's tradition. She brings twenty years of local real estate experience to the table and continues the Stevens brand of real estate brokerage typified by honesty, professionalism, and unparalleled local market knowledge paired with a long-standing appreciation for what makes Central Virginia so special.
In addition to residential Charlottesville properties, Stevens & Company specializes in farms, estates, country properties, retreats, and land throughout the Virginia Piedmont and greater Central Virginia areas. Stevens & Company often features luxury estates and other fine and historic properties outside the town of Charlottesville; in Albemarle, Greene, Orange, Nelson, Madison, Fluvanna, Amherst, and Culpeper counties; in and around Fredericksburg, Ivy, Warrenton, Afton, Barboursville, Rapidan, Gordonsville, Crozet, Free Union, Earlysville, White Hall, and Greenwood; on or near the country clubs of Farmington, Keswick, and Glenmore; and in close proximity to the University of Virginia, Ashlawn-Highland, Montpelier, and Monticello.
